Adelaide Peters During most of her nursing career she was employed at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Togus, serving a short time at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Boston. She retired to her home town of Dexter and married Leo A. Peters. She was a happy homemaker and helped care for her elderly parents. After the death of her husband she moved to Gardiner to be closer to her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Alice Banks Boynton; grand-daughters, Adelaide Chapman and husband Cory, great grand-daughter Carly and great grandson Casey, all of Chelsea, Theresa McPherson and husband Al; great grandsons Matthew and Andrew Padzdziorko, all of Winthrop; 3 step sons, Thomas Peters of Methuen, Mass., Richard Peters of Dexter, and James Peters of Andover, Mass., and their wives, partners, children and grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Leo, brother Robert Cinq-Mars, her twin sister Alice Bruzstowwicz and sister Agnes Cinq Mars. There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date at St. Annes Church, Dexter. Spring burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
