AGNES G. LINDSAY
GUILFORD, Agnes G. Lindsay, 79, died October 28, 2002 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born January 3, 1923 in Parkman, daughter of Vernal and Belle (Frazier) Grant. She attended local schools and graduated from Guilford High School. She married her husband of 57 years, Clinton LeVoy Lindsay Jr. in 1944, who predeceased her in 2000. She worked for 29 years for W.G. Blake’s Insurance Agency in Guilford and served the town as Deputy Town Clerk for many years.

She is survived by a son and his wife, James and Susan Lindsay of Scarborough; grandchildren, Craig and his wife Monica Lindsay of S. Portland, Kyle and his wife Toi Lindsay of Lewiston; Stacey and her husband, Sean Gilks of Turner, Laurie and her husband Brian Minott of Madison, Wisconsin, and Michael and his wife Tracey Gilbert of Hollis; a brother, Sherman Grant of Brewer; a sister, Affie Perkins of Hollis; 6 great grandchildren; special niece and nephew; Terry and Andy Lovell of Sangerville. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Grant and sister, Ina Church.

Friends may call 2-3:30 PM Friday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St., Guilford. Private graveside services for the family will follow with the Rev. Dr. Margaret “Dodie” Stowe officiating.
