ALBERTA A. VIGUE
DEXTER, Alberta A. Vigue, 84, died December 31, 2000 at a Dexter health care facility. She was born July 3, 1916, in Dexter, daughter of Joseph and Emma (Pooler) Morancie. She attended Dexter schools and graduated from N.H. Fay High School. She was employed at the dental office of the late Dr. Lawrence Kelley for 16 years and as a clerk at the Dexter Pharmacy for 14 years. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and hooking rugs. During WWII, while Romeo was in the Army, she moved to Connecticut and worked as a time keeper at Pratt & Whitney where they were manfacturering aircraft engines.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph “Romeo” Vigue in 1998 and a brother, Bernard Morancie. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Rose Morancie of Dexter; several nieces and nephews including Roger Vigue and his wife Eleanor of Dexter, Terrence Morancie and his wife Sallie of Brewer, Ross Morancie and his wife Mary and Wilfred Morancie and his wife Carol all of Florida.

Friends may call 6-8 PM Wednesday January 10th at the Crosby & Neal funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday January 11th at St Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter with Rev. Raymond Morancy officiating. Spring burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
