ALLEN L. “LUCKY” JONES
GUILFORD- Allen L. “Lucky” Jones, 49, died January 6, 2003 at his home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 24, 1953 at Whitefield, New Hampshire the son of Alton and Reta (Forbus) Jones.Lucky enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother of Cornville, he is survived by his wife Roxanne and a step-son Scott, both of Guilford; 3 sisters, Clara Corson of Canaan, Dorothy Waterhouse of Parkman, and Margaret Nickerson of Harmony; 2 brothers, Alton, Jr. of CT, and Albert of Harmony; several nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by a special friend Jane Merrill.

At his request there will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Sunday, January 12, 2003 at the Guilford Center Baptist Church with the Rev. David Lassell andthe Rev. Dr. Margaret “Dodie” Stowe officiating. Those who wish may contribute in his memory to the American Cancer Society,1 Main Street; Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.
