AMBER B. ROCKWELL
CORINNA - Amber B. Rockwell, 81, died February 27, 2002 at a Bangor hospital. She was born February 1, 1921 at Corinth the daughter of Bernard and Fern (Everett) Bean. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed reading her Bible and sharing her faith with family and friends. On July 26, 1939 she married the Rev. George H. Rockwell and for their 36 years of marriage they ministered in local churches in word and song.

She is survived by 2 daughters and their husbands, Brenda and William Rohland of Alexandria, VA, and Betty and Thomas Floyd of Corinna; her special son, Everett S. Rockwell of Corinna; her cherished grandchildren, Timothy Floyd of Corinna, Kimberly and her husband, Jeffery Earnshaw of St. Leonard, MD, Bill Rohland of Alexandria, VA, Thomas Floyd, Jr. of Portland, and Travis Floyd of Fairfax, VA; her special great grandson, Jeffery Earnshaw; 4 sisters, Theda Cross of Bangor, Verna Hoyt and her husband, Merlyn of Aiken, SC, Ardith McGraw of Corinth and Patricia and her husband, the Rev. Ronald Parker of Hartland; 1 brother, Ronald and his wife, Margaret Bean of Corinth; brothers-in-law, Woodrow Cross of Bangor and Preston Johnson of Salisbury, MD; a sister-in-law, Victoria Bean of Garland; many special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, the Rev. George H. Rockwell; sisters, Nathalie Johnson and Janette Cross; a brother, Malcolm Bean; brothers-in-law, Howard McGraw and Leon Cross.

Friends may call 2 to 5 P.M. Saturday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, March 3rd at the Pleasant Street Christian Church, St. Albans Road, Corinna, with the Revs. Paul Floyd and Sean McGill officiating.
