ANDREW R. SANBORN, SR.
PLYMOUTH – Andrew R. Sanborn, Sr., 57, exchanged this world for a better place on August 17, 2000. He fought the good fight and finished his course after a long bout with cancer. He was born May 23, 1943 at Hartland the son of Algernon and Flora (Ashe) Sanborn. He was a graduate of Husson College in Bangor.

He is survived by his loving wife, Connie (Adair) Sanborn of Plymouth; three children, sons, Rob Sanborn of Newport, and Corey Sanborn of Tulsa, Oklahoma, one daughter, Bethany Sanborn Thrift of Skiatook, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Robbie Sanborn, Leiha Sanborn, Aleisha Sanborn all of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Hannah Thrift of Skiatook, Oklahoma; his only sister, Marie Towne of Newport; one very special aunt, Rowena Field of Detroit; his only nephew, Terry Towne of Spanish Fort, Alabama, and several cousins. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Private visitation will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral services will be held 10 A.M. Monday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 64 Main Street, Newport. Burial will be in the family lot, Detroit Village Cemetery.
