OBITUARIES

ANDREW W. NADEAU
HARMONY, Andrew W. Nadeau, 68, died August 9, 2000 at a Portland hospital. He was born August 26, 1931 in Wellington, son of Henry and Alsadie (Huff) Nadeau. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a Deputy in the Maine State Grange, the treasurer of the Mainstream Grange in Harmony and the Overseer of Wellington Grange. He was chairman of the Harmony Planning Board. He was the Service Officer in the Stott Flanders American Legion Post #165 in Sangerville. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping.

He is survived by his wife and soul mate for 26 years, Marie (Robinson) Nadeau of Harmony; two sisters, Annie Rooks of Wellington and Ella and Travis Blevins of Florida; a brother, Phillip and his wife Norma Nadeau of Wellington; a half sister, Rose Andrzejewski of Hartland; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call 7-9 PM Friday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday at the Dexter United Methodist Church with Rev. Cecil Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Libby Cemetery in Harmony.
