ANN E. PANCIERA Ann was a farm girl her entire life, as a child in Conn., then in Ripley, and later with her husband and family in North Guilford. She enjoyed gardening, music, and caring for her family, and many farm animals as well. She was a member of the Willimantic Community Church, and taught in the Willimantic Christian School. Never a social butterfly, Ann was loved by all who really knew her. She is sorely missed. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard E. Panciera of Guilford; a daughter, Rebecca Simmons of Meriden, CT; 3 sons, Robert Panciera and his wife, Stephanie of Monson, Jared Panciera and his wife, Kathy of Guilford, and Jeremy Panciera of Guilford; grandchildren, Micah, Dadjian, Amber, Katherine, Emily, Joanna, Cassidy, Thomas and Jennifer; a brother James Hazlett of Heath, MA; a sister, Jane Butler and her husband, David of Poteau, OK. She was predeceased by her parents, and an infant son, Richard Everett Panciera in 1967. Friends may call Monday, August 22, 2011, from 6 to 8 PM at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street in Guilford. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, August 23rd, at the funeral home, with Pastor Isaiah Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Guilford.
