ARTHUR D. HARTFORD
DEXTER, Arthur D. Hartford, 66, died Nov. 14, 2000 at the Dexter Health Care Facility, where he has resided for the past 8 years. He was born Apr. 18, 1934, youngest son of Chester L. and Georgieanna (LaBree) Hartford. He served in the US Navy for five years aboard the USS D.J. Buckley.

He is survived by three brothers and their wives, Chester and Joan Hartford of Garland, Arnold and Constance Hartford of Corinna, and Ronald and Doris Hartford of Sangerville; a sister, Geneva Pisano of Brookfield, CT; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and mother, and brothers, Lewis, Leo and Roger and brother-in-law Vincent Pisano.

Private calling hours for the family will be held at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Friday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dexter, with Fr. Raymond Morancy officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dexter Health Care Recreation Dept., 64 Park St., Dexter, ME 04930.
