STETSON Auril E. Tasker, Sr., 61, died unexpectedly October 8, 2001 at his Route 222 residence. He was born January 23, 1940 at Dexter the son of Luther and Marjorie (Stevens) Tasker. He was self employed as a carpenter all of his life and had also worked at Eastland Woolen Mill in Corinna until it closed. He especially enjoyed restoring classic cars with his sons and grandsons.

He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Judkins of Bangor; his companion of 27 years, Hazel Williams of Stetson; 5 sons, Auril, Jr. of Bradford, Mark and Morris, both of Dexter, John of Stetson, and Charles of Newport; 4 daughters, Melanie Bragg, Brandy Barnett and Michelle Simonds, all of Dexter, and Robin Williams of Hudson; 2 brothers, Douglas and Larry ; 5 sisters, Charlene, Amy, Judy, Marjorie and Jane; 23 grandchildren.

Friends may call 6-8 P.M. Friday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, Exeter Road, Corinna, where funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Saturday with the Rev. David Ray officiating. Burial will be in the family lot, North Newport Cemetery.
