BEATRICE L. STORER
GUILFORD- Beatrice L. Storer, 86, died March 15, 2008, at a Dexter health care facility. She was born September 4, 1921, in Willimantic, daughter of John and Helen (Smith) Leavitt. She worked for Pratt and Whitney in Connecticut for several years and later moved back to the Guilford area and worked for Guilford Industries for 30 years. For many years she and her husband, Robert Storer Sr. owned and operated their farm in North Guilford. Bea was predeceased by her husband in 1986.

She is survived by 2 sons, Ralph Storer of Bradford, Robert Storer Jr. and his wife Linda of Guilford; 2 daughters, Evelyn Spack and her husband Forrest of Abbot, Rita Tibbetts and her husband Willis of Guilford; 5 sisters, Elsie Goodrich of Abbot, Thelma King of Guilford, Pauline Meyers of CT, Mary Jane Erickson of Monson, Marilyn Gordon of MD; a brother Richard Leavitt of PA; many grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Pearl Woods Brown who died in 1979.

A memorial service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street in Guilford, with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating.
