BERNARD C. DAVIS Bernard loved to knit , he enjoyed sharing his craft with family and friends by gifting over 1000 pairs of mittens, stockings, and slipper socks . He was a 50 year member of Parian Lodge # 160, Anah Temple Shrine, and the Corinna United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting and snowmobiling and was a former member of Corundel Raiders Snowmobile Club. No task was ever too big for him to pursue. Known as "Boss Man" he taught his family to work hard and together to complete each project. He was very devoted to his family, always there to help. Bernard loved a good laugh, lobster, and a hearty meal. He will be forever missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Vivian (Hartwell) Davis; their daughters and husbands: Dawn and Fred Smith, Fawn and Bill Condon and Priscilla and Brent Dorman; grandchildren Cristie Condon and partner Bill Dunton, Will Condon and wife Susan, Bernard Huntt and wife Lynn, Joel Huntt, Bryan Smith and wife Jessica, Adam Robinson, Brandy Robinson, Laura Hagelin and husband Ian, and Christina Dorman; great grandchildren Roxanne, Melissa, Ashley, Amanda, Brittney, Kristen, Nicole, Brandon, Colby, Jordyn, Kiersten, Morgan, Dylan, Suhaily and Mallory. He is survived by 2 brothers, Robert B. Davis and Sanger I. Davis Sr.; an uncle Herbert Scribner, Sr; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother and sister in law, Chester H. Davis, Sr. and wife Jeanette, his sister in law Joyce C. Davis, sisters Gail Sawtelle and Donna Anderson. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at Crosby & Neal Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna, where a Masonic service will be conducted at 7 PM. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, May 7th, at the Corinna United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Grace Mazhandu officiating. Burial will be in the Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna. The family would like to express appreciation for his devoted medical care provided by Dr. John Baker, the staff of Sebasticook Valley Hospital and the staff at Sanfield Rehabilitation and Living Center.
