OBITUARIES

BERNARD C. LORD
Bernard Lord CORINNA - Bernard Lord, 80, died Sept. 15, 2010, at his residence. He was born April 8, 1930, in Dexter, a son of Clarence and Marion (Macomber) Lord. He graduated from N.H. Fay High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Dexter Shoe Co. after working there for many years. He and his late wife, Helen (Hall) Lord, spent many years happily married, enjoying hunting, fishing and camping trips with family and friends. They especially enjoyed their camp on Kingsbury Pond. Helen predeceased him Sept. 24, 1996.

Bernard is survived by a son, David Lord of Bangor; and two daughters, Rebecca and her significant other, Stephen Brown, of Corinna, and Nancy and husband, Gary Ernst, of Nova Scotia. He will also be sadly missed by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Francis and wife, Joanne Lord, of Nashua, N.H.; and by his sister, Barbara Plant of Universal City, Texas. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his sisters, Pauline Tompkins and Maxine Thompson.
