BERNARD F. PAGE In spite of his mental handicap, “Buddy” or “Bernie” as his staff called him, enjoyed summer outings at the lake with family and friends. He loved people and wasn’t afraid to say so. During the past 7 ˝ years, Buddy was able to live in a special house to him, built by his grandparents. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step-father, Donald Shaw. He is survived by a sister Mary Parkhurst of Mesa, AZ; 3 half-sisters, Donna Hillman and Sandra Strout, both of Hermon, and Jane Robinson of Apple Valley, CA; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and his cat, Tiger. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Tuesday, March 8th at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport with the Rev. Garnett Chute officiating. Spring burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Etna.
