Bertha M. Turner
She was a member of the OES in Sangerville, the American Legion Auxiliary in Sangerville, the Guilford United Methodist Church, and the Senior Citizens in Brownville Junction.
She is survived by 3 sons, Owen Campbell of Sangerville, Orman Campbell of St. James, MO, and Elgin Turner of Southbury, CT; 2 daughters, Gloria Grant and Regina Jackson, both of Sangerville; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Hilburn Bunker of Coopers Mills, and Eldon Bunker of CA; 3 sisters, Frances Simmons of Richmond, Ruth Creamer of Bath, and Christine Hyson of Damariscotta; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank E. Turner; her first husband, Daniel L. Campbell; 4 sons, Norman Campbell, Richard Campbell, Donald Campbell, and Galen Campbell; a daughter, Patricia Waterhouse; 3 sisters, Glenna Batchelder, Delores York and Delphine Curtis; 3 brothers, John Bunker, Rufus Bunker, and Sanford Bunker.
A memorial service will be held 10 AM, Friday, October 4, 2013, at the Guilford United Methodist Church with Pastor Reeni Cipullo officiating. Burial will be at a later date, at the Maine Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Augusta. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to the Guilford United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 267, Guilford, ME 04443.
