OBITUARIES

BRENDA L. (HERSEY) CURRIER
PLYMOUTH—Brenda Lee (Hersey). Currier, 55, went to be with her Lord and Saviour March 16, 2011 at a Bangor hospital following a brief illness. She was born October 17, 1955 in Dexter, the daughter of Norman and Arlene (Jackson) Hersey. She graduated from Nokomis Regional High, Class of 1974 and from the Auburn (Mid-State) School of Commerce, Class of 1976, where she met her loving husband Dan.

Brenda was an extremely hard worker all her life and was devoted and passionate in her career as a Chiropractic Assistant, having been employed at Newport Chiropractic. She loved making a difference in the lives of patients coming into the office. For many years she served as President of the Maine Chiropractic Assistants Association.

A devout Christian, Brenda had been associated with several area denominations. Her faith, family and friends were most important to her. She loved her pets, enjoyed camping, Christian music and entertaining. She was a wonderful cook and would always take the time to make something to give to someone in need. She was truly a beautiful person, inside and out and will be sadly missed. Brenda touched the lives and hearts of everyone who knew her with her great love, kindness and compassion. Her heart was bigger than this world and it came through in her beautiful smile that would always light up the room. She loved to have her family and friends around her and would always be the one to get everyone together.

She is survived by her mother of Corinna; her husband of Plymouth; 2 sons, Zachary Currier of Corinna and Christopher and wife Gihan Currier of Manassas, VA; a brother, Philip and wife Kelly Hersey of Dixmont; a grandson, Christopher Currier, Jr.; 3 nieces, Kristen, Ortencia and Ella.

She was predeceased by her father, Bill, in 1998.
