BRIAN DECKER FILES
BROWNVILLE JUNCTION and ORMOND BEACH, FLA. - Brian Decker Files, 45, died at his residence in Florida, May 22, 2001. He was born in Milo, March 29, 1956, the son of Douglas and Leona Files. Brian was a chief petty officer in the U.S. Navy. He served from 1974 to 1994. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, auto racing, and woodworking.

In addition to his mother, Leona Dube of Brownville Junction and his father, Douglas Files of Union City, Calif., he is survived by a son, Brian Files Jr. of Brownville; three daughters, Pamela Files of New Mexico, Crystal and Heather Files of Daytona Beach, Fla.; four sisters, Tanya Bragdon of Contoocook, N.H., Cheryl Kroemer of Milo, Julies Herbest and Judy Ogden of Brownville Junction; three grandchildren, Cody, Dylan and Austin Files; and his companion, Judith McLeod of Ormond Beach, Fla.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2001, at Pinetree Cemetery, Brownville Junction, with the Rev. David McLeish officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, Fla. 32119, or the American Cancer Society, East Volusia Unit, 146 Orange Ave., Daytona Beach, Fla. 32114.
