BRUCE A. PACKARD
WILLIMANTIC, Bruce A. Packard, 90, died April 9, 2002, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. He was born January 19, 1912 in Willimantic, son of Coney and Mildred (Knowles) Packard. He worked as a carpenter for many years and was a Maine Guide. He was a member of the Willimantic Grange and attended the Willimantic Community Church.

He is survived by his wife, Frances (Meserve) Packard of Sangerville; a son, Alan Packard of Vermont; 2 daughters, Mary Marquis of Westbrook and Carlene Washburn of Portland; 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Ronald, and Laurie; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; 3 sisters, Joyce, Iola and Elizabeth.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday April 20, 2002, at the Riverside Cemetery in Willimantic with Rev. Lloyd Rozelle officiating. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
