BRUCE E. WARD
GREENVILLE - Bruce E. Ward, 47, died unexpectedly Aug. 13, 2001, at his home in Greenville. He was born Aug. 31, 1953, in Greenville, the son of Arthur and Simone (Gagne) Ward. He was a graduate of Greenville High School, Class of 1971. He worked for Porters Garage, Whitneys Oil Co. and Dirigo Lumber, and later for Greenville Steam Co. for 15 years as a maintenance engineer. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his mother, and his wife, Debra (Kenny) Ward of Greenville; two sons, Gabriel Bourgoin, formerly of Greenville, and Christopher Ward of Greenville; one daughter, Shayna Ward of Greenville; three brothers, John Ward of Greenville Junction, Michael Ward of Harfords Point, and Timothy Ward of Hampden; one sister, Susan Ward of Meredith, N.H., several nieces, nephews, and cousins; one furry pet friend, "The Haze".
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at McCrory Funeral Home, with Rev. Rhenow officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Moosehead Riders Assoc., P.O. Box 1145, Greenville, ME 04441. Arrangements entrusted to the care of McCrory Funeral Home, Greenville.
