Carlton S. Larrabee, Sr
Carlton was in the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church, and was a former member and past noble grand of the Plymouth Lodge I.O.O.F. He was a machinist at Fay & Scott in Dexter, where he worked for many years.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Beverly, and his second wife, Joyce. He is survived by four sons, Gilbert of Bangor, Stan and his wife Aloyse, and Mike and his wife, Sally, all of Dexter, and Kevin of N.C.; two stepsons, David Brumm of Pittsfield, and Ray Batchelder of Dover-Foxcroft; four stepdaughters, Debbie Morrell of NH, Kathy Snide of LA, Donna Jo and her husband, John Maynard of Charleston, Regina her husband, Brian Hewins of Hartland; one brother, Myron Larrabee of CA; one sister, Rose Emery of Etna; 4 half sisters, Dorothy and her husband, Phillip Collins of Dexter, Donna Cookson of Dover-Foxcroft, Mary and her husband, Galen Sands of Dexter, and Celeste and her husband, Alan Kirschdoffer of Corinna; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He will be sorely missed by his family. A memorial will take place at the Lake Wassookeag rest area on Route 23, across from the K of C Hall in Dexter on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 2 to 3 pm.
