CATHERINE M. CLUKEY
DEXTER – Catherine Matilda (Lessard) Clukey, 83, wife of Loren T. Clukey, died March 3, 2002 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital.She was born August 26, 1918 at Skowhegan the daughter of Joseph and Amanda (Turcotte) Lessard. She graduated from Skowhegan High School, Class of 1936, and had been a resident of Dexter since 1947. She had been employed as a secretary for Fayscott, Inc. for 25 years. She was a communicant of St. Anne’s Parish. Kitty was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph, Normand,Raymond and Alcide Lessard, and a daughter, Liane.

She is survived by her husband of Dexter; a daughter and her husband, Judith and Edward McKay of Corinna; a special grandson, Keith Peavey of Corinna; and a sister, Elizabeth Bisson of Skowhegan.

There will be no visiting hours. A memorial mass will be held 10 A.M. Saturday, March 9th, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Dexter with the Rev. Fr. Raymond Morency officiating. A spring committal service will be held at Mt. PleasantCemetery, Dexter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Mayo Regional Hospital, 75 West Main Street, Dover-Foxcroft, ME04426. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter.
