Bernard A. Lam
She graduated from PCHS, class of 1975, and lived all of her life in Parkman and was an active member of the Parkman Grange.
Over the years she had worked as a waitress at various restaurants and also worked as a seamstress for Delongs and Creative Apparel. She owned the family business, Bailey Construction, with her husband and son before retiring to the simple life in her comfy cabin in the woods.
Cathy had a love for life. She lived life to its fullest. She enjoyed motorcycle rides with her husband, riding horses, taking care of and spending time with her barnyard buddies. Singing around the campfire seemed to be a favorite for her. She loved having large gatherings with family and friends and was one of the first people to organize a benefit if there was someone in need. Most of all she loved her husband, children and grandchildren. They were the light of her life as she was theirs. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She touched many lives and her memory will live on in all of us.
She is survived by her husband, David W. Elderkin; a son, Seth Elderkin and his wife, Tricia of Parkman; a daughter, Stacie Cole and her husband, Derek, and Shannon Noyes and her husband, Joe all of Parkman; 8 grandchildren, Bailey, Austin, Quentin, Kaileigh, Heston, Kadyn, Mitchel, Lexi; close friends, Rocky and Dean Rideout form Dover-Foxcroft.
She was predeceased by her parents, and an infant brother, Arthur.
