CHARLENE B. DUBE
DEXTER – Charlene B. Dube, 79, died September 11, 2003 at a Bangor hospital following a brief illness. She was born July 21, 1924 at Harmony a daughter of Merton and Inez ( Flagg) Braley. She was employed by Dexter Shoe Company for 27 years. She was a communicant of St. Annes Catholic Church in Dexter and was very active in assisting with the duties involved in the daily operations at the church. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Charlene enjoyed reading, crocheting, and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will always be remembered as the center of the family.

In addition to Lucien, her husband of 62 years, she is survived by a son Ted and wife Judy Dube of Dexter; 2 daughters, Barbara and husband Galen McKenney of Corinna, Betty and husband Jim Laferriere of Dexter; a sister Christine Pelkie of Hartland; a step-sister, Judy Ricker of Wellington; grandchildren, Kathy and husband Mike Mossey, Rick and wife Leslie McKenney, Annette and husband Randy Dellaire, Rob and wife Patty Laferriere, David and wife Tanya Dube, Paul and wife Amy Dube; great grandchildren, Ashley and Justin Dellaire, Justin Mossey, Brad and Eliza McKenney; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Andrea Sargent. She will be missed by her loving family and many friends.

Friends may call from 2 – 5 P.M. Sunday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main Street, Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Monday, September 15th, with the Rev. Fr. Raymond Morency officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
