CHARLENE L. (BROWN) WILLIAMS She was also known as the “Cat Lady” in town as she took in stray cats and had them spayed or neutered. She then either took them in herself or found them new homes. She will be sadly missed by many. She is survived by her parents of Guilford; 2 daughters, Alice Faticanti of Guilford, and Mauricia Melia of North Berwick; 5 grandchildren, Beth Scott, Stanley Martin, Trista and Tiffani Melia; a great grandson, Trevor Martin of Clinton; brothers and sisters, Sheldon and Donna Woodard of Harmony, Marlon and Ruby Woodard of Guilford, Glendene and Jim Lockwood of Dover-Foxcroft, Virginia Lablanc and Charles Wells of Guilford, Deborah Brown and Sarah Damon of Milo, Don Woodard of Detroit, Dennis and Patsy Woodard of Corinna, and Darrel Woodard of Harmony; an uncle, Richard Brown of Guilford; a great aunt Donna and Steve True of Palmyra; a longtime special friend, John Leavitt of Dover-Foxcroft; as well as caring neighbors, Clarence and Cathy; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by 3 brothers, Duane, Wayne and Ronald Woodard; and a grandson, Kegan Melia. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Friday, April 17th, at Crosby & Neal, 21 Oak Street, Guilford.
