CHARLENE M. COOLEY
HARMONY- Charlene M. Cooley, 80, died Saturday, October 9, 2010, at Woodlawn Nursing Home in Skowhegan, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Harmony, September 6, 1930, daughter of Arnold and Hilda (Laflin) Dore.

She attended Harmony schools and married R. Forrest Cooley in 1947. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. A very outgoing person, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years; 5 sons, Robert and his wife, Brenda, Leonard and his wife, Anita, Jeffrey and his wife, Linda, Reginald and his wife, Beth, and Mark; a daughter, Sharon McKenney and her husband, Peter; 2 brothers, Virgil Dore, and John Rowe and his wife, Eva; a sister, Emma Huff; a sister-in-law, Ellen Dore; 12 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by 6 brothers, Linwood, Malcolm, Raymond, William, and Donald Dore, and Jim Rowe; 2 sisters, Eleanor Smith and Frances Piper.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM, Saturday, October 16, 2010, at the Cambridge Baptist Church, with Rev. William Inman officiating.
