OBITUARIES

CHARLES DINOPOULOS
CORINNA – Charles Dinopoulos, 70, died October 26, 2010 at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 12, 1940 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, a son of George and Evelyn (Widger) Dinopoulos. He graduated from Leominster [MA] High School and served a tour in the U. S. Air Force.

He worked at Colonial Press in Clinton, MA for 17 years, and for the Ames Company in Clinton for 19 years. He was a member of the Masons. Charlie moved to Corinna in 1997 and taught hunter safety education for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Garland Grange and the Pomona Grange. He was also a member of the Morse’s Corner Baptist Church in Corinna.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Gudroe) Dinopoulos of Corinna; 1 son, Matthew and wife Kimberly Dinopoulos of Fitchburg, MA; and a sister, Joanne Awadellah of Leominster, MA; and a grandson Joshua.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday, October 29th, at Morse’s Corner Baptist Church, Exeter Road, Corinna with Pastor Mike Wilbur officiating. Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of the service. A graveside committal service for Charles Dinopoulos will be held 2 PM Friday at Morses Corner Cemetery, Corinna. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna.
