CHARLES E. “GENE” COOLEY He served in U. S. Army during World War II. Gene was a member of the American Legion, the Grange, and the Sno-Devils Snowmobile Club. He will be remembered as a man who never said no to his neighbors. He is survived by his wife, Selinda Louise Cooley of St. Albans; a son Charles E. Cooley and wife Jenette of Dixmont; 3 daughters, Priscilla “Patty” Roberts of Corinna, Phyllis Ellison and husband John of Etna, and Judy Mahar and husband Michael of St. Albans; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Hattie Larrabee; a brother, Clifton; and a granddaughter, SueLynn Bolstridge. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Friday, October 21st at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Chapel, 68 Exeter Road, Corinna, with the Rev. Robert Herring officiating. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service.
