OBITUARIES

CHARLES GAMMON
GREENVILLE - Charles Gammon, 90, of Greenville, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, at the Cortland Memorial Hospital, New York. He was born June 8, 1911, in Corinth, the son of the late William and Grace Nichols Gammon. Mr. Gammon was proprietor of the Gammon Camps in Rockwood, until his retirement in 1975. He also worked for Lane Construction for several years.

He is survived by a son, Charles H. Gammon of McGraw, N.Y.; stepdaughter, Ruby (Ronald) Pellitier of Old Town; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and grandson, Charles J. Gammon. He was predeceased by his wife, Julia Gammon; brother, George Gammon; and sister, Grace Gammon.

A graveside service will be held at Great Pond Cemetery, Aurora, at the convenience of the family. Wright-Beard Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
