CHARLES W. WILSON
CORINTH - Charles W. Wilson, 92, husband of the late Eleanor (Chadwick) Wilson, died March 23, 2002, at a Bangor hospital, after a short illness. He was born Aug. 6, 1909, in Bangor, the son of Herbert and Lucy (Worster) Wilson. He was a member of the Water-Oak Gem and Mineral Club, and had been an avid rock hound for many years. He was a lifelong machinist and welder, working for Fayscott Machine Shop in Dexter and also owned and operated his own welding shop in Dexter for many years. He had been a former resident of Levant and Dexter, moving to Corinth about 20 years ago.

He is survived by a son, John Wilson and his wife, Ione of Dexter; two daughters, Anne Sinclair and her husband, Gary of Fallbrook, Calif., Paula Thompson and her husband, Raymond of Corinth; three sisters, Marion Clewley of Arizona, Ruby Campbell of Tennessee and Carolyn Ellis of Bangor; a brother-in-law, Carroll Oakes of Bangor; a dear friend, Dorothy Gosselin of Eddington; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Charles was predeceased by two brothers, Herbert and George; two sisters, Helen Oakes and Ruth Pearson.

Friends may call at the Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Rd., Corinth, from 12 noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Michael Pike officiating. Burial will be in Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth.
