CHRISTINE GLORIA HOBBS
DOVER-FOXCROFT - Christine Gloria Hobbs, 62, wife of Arthur A. Hobbs, lost her battle with cancer on Aug. 3, 2002, at her home in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born Sept. 3, 1939, the daughter of Clair and Nora (Whiting) Burgoyne.

In addition to her husband of 46 years, she is survived by three sons, Mark Hobbs and wife, Robin of Milo, Craig Hobbs of Guilford, Bill Hobbs of Milo; two daughters, Nora Parker and fianc‚, Ken Dow of Dover-Foxcroft, Dorothy Williams and husband, Mark of Dover-Foxcroft; two brothers, Lee Burgoyne of Guilford, Bruce Burgoyne of Florida; 12 special grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002, with the Rev. David McLeish officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Dover Cemetery.
