CLINTON LEVOY LINDSAY JR.
GUILFORD, Clinton Levoy Lindsay Jr., 79, died December 31, 2000 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born October 13, 1921 in Guilford, son of Clinton and Ina (Washburn) Lindsay Sr. He attended Guilford schools graduating from Guilford High School class of 1940. He served in the US Army during WWII and was called back into service, this time in the Air Force, during the Korean Conflict. Prior to and following the service he worked as a pharmacist for Ross Drug Store in Guilford, until his retirement in 1985. He was active in the masons and was a 50 year member of the Mt. Kineo Masonic Lodge #109 in Guilford. He was also a member of the Connor Trafton American Legion Post #119 in Guilford.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Agnes (Grant) Lindsay of Guilford; a son and his wife James and Susan Lindsay of Scarborough; 5 grandchildren, Craig and his wife Monica Lindsay of S. Portland; Kyle and his wife Toi Lindsay of Lewiston; Stacey and her husband Sean Gilks of Turner and Laurie and her husband Brian Minott of Madison, WI, Michael and his wife Tracey Gilbert of Hollis; 5 great grandsons; several nieces and nephews including a special nephew and his wife, Andy and Terry Lovell of Sangerville.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home in Guilford. Spring burial will be in the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Mayo Regional Hospital, 75 West Main St. Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426.
