COLBY L. EMERY Colby is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Althea; a son, Jerry and wife Darlene of Dover-Foxcroft; 2 daughters, Sharon Stevens and husband Robert of Bangor and Kristy Emery of Storrs, CT; grandchildren, Sean Emery and wife Robin of Bangor, Renee Hamlin and husband Scott of Dixmont, Charles Emery and wife Susan of Abbot, Tammy Bickmore and Bernadette Kroone of St. Portland, Elizabeth Brewer and husband Donald of Corinth, Andrew Bickmore and wife Karen of Washington, ME, Terri Jo LaClaire and husband Phillip of Tampa, FL; great grandchildren, Meagan, Johnathon, Cheyanne, Dakota, Colby, Benjamin, Nicole, Matthew, Mckenzie, Jacob, Mindy and Michael; and a brother, Keith Emery of Skowhegan. He was predeceased by sisters, Irene, Lucille, Auriella and Leanoa, and brothers, Leonard, Morris, Fremont and Durwood. The family would like to say a very special thank-you to the staff of Brewer Rehab & Living Center, B Wing, and to the Hospice staff of St. Joseph’s Hospital for the thoughtful care and support for Colby and his family. As per Colby’s wishes, only a burial service will be held at a time to be announced at the Morse’s Corner Cemetery, Corinna. A celebration to his memory will follow the graveside service at the American Legion Hall, 47 Maple Street, Corinna. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1 Main Street, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Newport. A burial service for Colby Emery, who died June 28th, will be held 3 PM Wednesday, July 6th at the Morse’s Corner Cemetery, Corinna. A celebration to honor his memory will be held at the Corinna American Legion Hall, 47 Maple Street, Corinna, following the graveside service. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Newport.
