DAVID A. GOODROW, SR.
SANGERVILLE - David A. Goodrow Sr., 83, husband of the late Phyllis (Jackson) Goodrow, died Nov. 18, 2003, at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor. He was born Dec. 31, 1919, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Joseph E. and Georgiana (Norfalise) Goodrow. A U.S. Army veteran, he had served during World War II in the European Campaign. He was a life member of the D.J. Babineau VFW Post No. 3385 in Dover-Foxcroft. Mr. Goodrow had retired from Dexter Shoe Company, and had been employed at Ames Department Store.

He is survived by two sons, Dennis and his wife, Wanda, of Corinth, David A. Jr. and his companion, Linda Hale, of Kingston, N.H.; three brothers, Tim and his wife, Ruth, of St. Petersburg, Fla., Joe and his wife, Viola, of Dover-Foxcroft; Ike and his wife, Peggy, of Somersworth, N.H.; a sister, Dora Noyes of Dover-Foxcroft; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Marcella Burton.

In keeping with Mr. Goodrow's wishes, services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
