DAVID ALLEN PENNEY He graduated from Skowhegan High School, Class of 1974. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and working with his honey bees. David had been a self employed woodsman, and also worked at Irving Tannery and Snowman’s Oil and Soil. He is survived by his mother, Carolyn M. Penney of Newport; daughter Amanda Penney and her significant other, Frank “Bub” Turner of St. Albans; son David A. Penney II of Bangor; step sons, Daniel Chamberlain and wife Leah of Plymouth, and Dominic and wife Ashley of Roanoke, VA; brother Dale Penney of Pittsfield; sister Diane Barrett of Lewiston; 7 grandchildren; 4 nephews, Seth and Dylan Penney of Pittsfield, Richard and Matthew Barrett of Lewiston; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends Bill Preble of Corinth and Joe Gould of Gardiner; as well as his former wives, Ginger Penney of Orrington, and Kristy Penney of Bangor. He was predeceased by his father Richard Penney. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 19th, at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport with the Rev. Matthew Ward officiating.
