DAVID G. BRANSCOMBE
NEWPORT – David Gerald Branscombe, 66, died unexpectedly June 24, 2005 at Machias. He was born November 7, 1938 at Newport the son of Harold and Barbara (Colby) Branscombe. He graduated from Newport High School, Class of 1957, and served in the U. S. Army from 1963 to 1966. David was employed as a baker, an auto parts salesman, and a maintenance man at H.P. Hood Company in Newport.

He is survived by a brother Willard Branscombe of St. John, NB, Canada; a sister, Judith and husband Harold Field of St. Albans; 2 nieces, Angela and husband Roger Hartsgrove and their son Nathaniel of Waterville; Melissa and husband Nicholas Mayhew and their daughter Graceland of Skowhegan; many cousins.

Private burial will be in the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 117 Main Street, Newport.
