DAVID LEE TURNER
SHIRLEY- David Lee Turner, 64, died November 27, 2011, at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born August 18, 1947, in Greenville, son of Lee and Shirley (Perry) Turner.

David graduated from Greenville High School class of 1966. Following graduation he served in the US Army stationed in Germany and later served in Vietnam. David lived for most of his life in Shirley. He was an avid sports fan and followed the Red Sox, Patriots, Bruins, and the Celtics. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by a son, Joshua David Turner of Florida; 2 brothers, Albert Turner and Daniel Turner, both of Shirley; a sister, Gail Downie of Sangerville; nieces and nephews, Sarah Foster of Westbrook, Joseph Turner of Shirley, and Alissa Downie of Sangerville; many cousins and friends.

Graveside services with military honors will be held 1 PM, Monday, December 5, 2011, at the Shirley Cemetery.
