OBITUARIES

DEBRA A. BREWER
CORINNA—Debra A. Brewer, 58, died unexpectedly December 5, 2010 at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born September 1, 1952 in Bangor, a daughter of Raymond and Phyllis (Hewes) Blaisdell. She graduated from Schenck High School, Class of 1970. She was a certified professional Maine florist, was a graduate of CSI Interior Design, and attended the University of Maine, Bangor, studying criminal justice.

Debbie was a member of the Morse’s Corner Baptist Church in Corinna. She loved music and served as pianist at the church. She had been very active in local Baptist churches in the area. She also loved to sing. Her true passions were her family and gardening. She enjoyed arranging flowers, decorating her home and teaching her children.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Norbert “Guy” Brewer; 3 sons, Christopher Brewer, Jason and wife Margaret Brewer, and Joshua Brewer; a daughter Shannon Brewer; 4 brothers, Raymond and wife Pamela Blaisdell, Jr., Thomas and wife Suely Blaisdell, David and wife Shelly Blaisdell, and Robert Blaisdell; a sister, Dianne Berry; 2 grandchildren, Daniel and Elizabeth Brewer; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 1 PM Friday, December 10th, at Morse’s Corner Baptist Church, corner of Exeter and White Roads, Corinna, with Pastor Michael Wilbur officiating. A reception will be held at Debbie and Guy’s residence, 183 Greenbush Road, Corinna, following the service.

Because of her father’s considerable involvement, the family asks that memorial contributions may be made to Gideon’s International, P. O. Box 134, Bangor, ME 04401. Cremation arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Corinna. Those who wish may leave written condolences at www.CrosbyNeal.com.
