DELLA F. CUMMINGS
DOVER-FOXCROFT - Della F. Cummings, 95, wife of the late Frank D. Cummings, died March 3, 2002, at a local nursing home. She was born Dec. 1, 1906, in Barnard, the daughter of John and Nora (Blethen) Perham. Della was a school teacher in her early years, teaching all eight grades in a one room schoolhouse in Elliotsville. Moving to Dover-Foxcroft after living many years in Bowerbank, she worked at J.J. Newberry's, until her retirement. She was an active member in the Rebekah Lodge, holding many positions. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Dover-Foxcroft.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Smith of Bowerbank and Sylvia Tibbetts of Sangerville; two sons, Vaughn Cummings and his wife, Cathy of Corinth, Ronald Cummings and his wife, Jane of Colorado; two sisters, Alice Perham and Elizabeth Kenney, both of Dover-Foxcroft; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be remembered by many dear friends at Thayer Parkway.

Friends are invited to call 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft. Graveside committal services will be announced in the spring.
