DENNIS MICHAEL LAVIGNE
GREENVILLE - Dennis M. Lavigne, 43, loving husband of Janice (Elsemore) Lavigne, died Feb. 4, 2001, in Greenville. He was born Dec. 28, 1957, in Greenville, the son of Kenneth and Theresa (Goulet) Lavigne. He was a lifelong resident of Greenville and a graduate of Greenville High School. He was employed at Greenville High School for the last 15 years and was a member of Union No. 60. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was married to his wife, Janice, in 1982. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janice; one son, Anthony James Lavigne; and one daughter, Sarah Lynne Lavigne; his mother, Theresa (Goulet) Lavigne; two brothers and their wives, Pat and Marcia, Mike and Debbie; six sisters, Priscilla and her husband, Paul, Gladys and her husband, Ken, Denise and her husband, Jeff, Cheryl, Carol and her husband, Bruce, and Karen; three brothers-in-law, Dana, Rocky and his wife, Karen, and Rob; his mother-in-law, Nancy Elsemore; two special nephews, Rock and Jerry; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A time of visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at McCrory Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville, with Fr. Ed Morin, presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dennis may be made to the Greenville Alumni Auditorium Fund and Music Camp, care of Dottie Gagne, United Kingfield Bank, P.O. Box 399, Greenville 04441.
