DONALD L. ENGSTROM
NEWPORT & DIXMONT – Donald Leroy Engstrom, 64, died July 21, 2011 at his Dixmont residence. He was born July 29, 1946 in Bangor, a son of Archie and Ruth (Getchell) Engstrom. He was employed for many years at Guilford Industries in Newport, and later owned and operated Riverside Antiques and Collectibles on Main Street in Newport.

He is survived by his wife Linda Engstrom of Dixmont; 2 daughters, Lori Gray and friend Dennis of Belfast and Donna and husband Rich Vetrano of Bangor; 4 stepsons, Robert and wife Michelle French, and Chris French, all of Dixmont, Daniel and wife Jody French of Etna, and Michael and wife Heather French of Bucksport; a stepdaughter, Linda and husband Chester Benson of Bucksport; 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Peggy Sukeforth of Bucksport; a brother Stanley Engstrom of Newport; 2 brothers-in-law, David and wife Una Sukeforth of Verona Island and John and wife Sharon Sukeforth of Cabot, AR; 3 sisters-in-law, Sandra and husband Dana Deans of Rice, MN, Diane “Dee Dee” and husband Donald French of Bangor, and Margaret Gerry of Bucksport; many nieces and nephews.
