DONNA W. LEIGHTON
NEWPORT - Donna W. Leighton, 86, died March 24, 2010 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born January 16, 1924 in Bridgewater a daughter of John and Georgia (Nelson) Harris. She attended St. Albans and Hartland schools. She was predeceased by her husband, Owen Leighton, and 2 grand-daughters, Terri-Lynn and Amy Lemieux.

Donna is survived by a son Paul and wife Judy Brooks of Corinna; a daughter Maxine and husband Miles Lemieux, Jr. of Sangerville; a brother, Sherman and wife Sandra Harris of Corinna; a sister, Rowena and husband Lewis McCloud of St. Albans; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Private interment will be in Corinna Village Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Northern New England Chapter, 114 Perimeter Road, Nashua, NH 03063.
