DOROTHY (CHADBOURNE) KEATEN
HARMONY & FARMINGTON - Dorothy A. Keaten, 86, died May 11, 2011 at a Farmington area hospital surrounded by her family. She was born January 31, 1925 in Harmony, a daughter of Cony and Ines (Watson) Chadbourne. She was an avid writer, cook and gardener, who took great pride in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed quilting, the Boston Red Sox, and playing cards.

Dot was predeceased by her husband Merrill Keaten in 1968; 2 sons, Terrence Keaten in 1992 and Randall Keaten in 1995; 2 brothers, Henry and Edward Chadbourne; 5 sisters, Edna Smith, Carolyn Worcester, Erma Reed, Annie Keaten, and Claire Corson.

She is survived by 2 daughters in law, Donna Keaten and Norma Leavitt and husband Stanley; 3 grandchildren, Tammy and husband Joel Barker, Randall and wife Laura Keaten, and Jennifer and husband Derek Fales; 4 great grandchildren, Jacob, Rylee, Reese and Ryan; 2 brothers, Vaughn Chadbourne, Basil and wife Alta Chadbourne; 3 sisters, Wilma Chadbourne, Marilyn Clapp and Evelyn Keaten.

There will be no visiting hours. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 pm. Tuesday, May 17th, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cambridge.
