EDGAR H. OLDENBURG
NEWPORT – Edgar H. Oldenburg, 69, died February 23, 2003 at a Hartland nursing home. He was born June 6, 1933 at Corinna the son of Delbert and Leitha (Whittaker) Oldenburg. He served in the U. S. Army, and retired after 37 years from the Dexter Shoe Company in Newport in 1996.

In addition to his wife Beverly, he is survived by 2 sons, Tracy and his wife Tammy Oldenburg of Newport, and Rick Oldenburg of Arizona; a daughter Denise and her husband Ned Herrold of Florida; 1 sister, Hilda Gowdy of Eddington; and a grandson Brandon.

A spring graveside funeral service will be held 2:30 P.M. Thursday, May 8th, at Riverside Cemetery, Newport, with Pastor Al H. Worden officiating.
