ELEANOR A. MERRILL
ABBOT VILLAGE AND DEXTER, Eleanor A. Merrill, 85, died March 22, 2003 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born May 18, 1917 in Dover-Foxcroft, daughter of Ralph and Maude Clukey. She worked at the Ross Drug Store, Hardwood Products Company, and at the Guilford Dry Cleaners. She was predeceased by her husband Carl L. Merrill.

She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Carol and Robert LaRochelle of Ripley; 2 brothers, Clyde Clukey of Presque Isle and Philip and his wife Shirley Clukey of Abbot; 2 grandchildren, Bobbi Ann Fields and Janie Kay Potter of Dexter; 6 great grandchildren, Cara Fields, Daniel Fields, Ami Potter, Tracy Potter, Maria Potter and Marjorie Potter; a step grandson, Isaiah Fields; many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held later in the spring at the Abbot Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Activity Fund at Dexter Health Care, 64 Park St., Dexter, ME 04930. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
