ELIZABETH "BETTY" C. PEARSON
NEWPORT – Elizabeth C. Pearson, 69, died unexpectedly January 11, 2003 at her Joslyn Street residence. She was born September 28, 1933 at South Boston, Mass. a daughter of Michael and Mary (Gibbons) Carroll. She worked for many years as a waitress at a number of restaurants and will be remembered for her love of animals, especially cats.

She is survived by her son and his wife, Philip and Darlene Predham, Sr. of Clinton; a daughter, Deborah Eagleheart of Tampa, Florida; a sister, Rose Hough of Gresham, Oregon; and a close friend, Bill Murray of Newport.

At her request there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Monday, January 20th, at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Detroit Avenue, Pittsfield with the Rev. Fr. Raymond Morency officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Pittsfield Animal Shelter; R.R. 1; Box 3965; Pittsfield, ME 04967.
