ELVIN CARMICHAEL Al left the legacy of a smiling face from behind the counter of Toot’s Delicatessen in Dexter during the sixties and early seventies. Al served honorably in the US Army in Germany. After his service time Al returned to his native Washburn, Maine home. He later moved to Dexter where he was a familiar face clerking as mentioned at Toot’s. Al loved hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He was a licensed pilot and long time member of the Civil Air Patrol. He will be missed by many new friends in Monson and especially by his special friend Marilyn Wintle also of Dexter. Services will be held at a later date in the Spring.
