EVELYN E. BLACKDEN
HARTLAND – Evelyn E. (McDougal) Blackden, 86, passed away July 5, 2006 at a Dexter health care facility. She was born December 11, 1919 at Woodland a daughter of Ernest and Valti (Ward) McDougal. After graduating from Benton High School, she married the late Merle L. Blackden on May 4, 1941. Evelyn was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by 2 sons, Lee of Seattle, Washington, Owen and wife Betty of Corinna; 2 brothers, Willis and wife Charlotte, Luther and wife Connie McDougal, all of Hartland; 3 sisters, Louise McCloud of Portland, Mary and husband Mickey Burrell of Palmyra; Marjorie and husband Wendell Bubar of St. Albans; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, July 11th, at the Pleasant Street Christian Church, Corinna, with the Rev. Edward Jaworski officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Hartland. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal Chapel, Corinna.
