EVELYN M. PULLYARD
PALMYRA AND DEXTER- Evelyn M. Pullyard, 102, died October 24, 2009, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, surrounded by her family. She was born October 5, 1907, in Dexter, daughter of Joseph and Mabel (Clukey) Gilbert. She was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter, and was a charter member of the Daughters of Isabella. She worked at Crown Alexander Woolen Mill in Dexter for over 18 years. Evelyn was the recipient of the Palmyra Boston Post Cane, which she received on her 99th birthday. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren, and enjoyed time at her camp at Echo Lake.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Janice Priest of Palmyra, Joyce Larrabee, and Sandra Crocker, both of Dexter; a sister, Zepharine Landry of Dexter; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Pullyard; 4 brothers, Donald, Reginald, Clifford, and Phillip Gilbert; 2 sisters, Eva Gilbert and Florence Small; and a grandson, Wayne Chevery.

A memorial service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, October, 29, 2009 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter with Deacon Frederick Harrigan officiating. Burial will be in the Mt.
