OBITUARIES

FERNAND ERIC BUSQUE
DEXTER – Fernand Eric Busque, 71, died August 5, 2011 at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home. He was born August 14, 1939 in Montreal a son of Charles and Rachelle (Nadeau) Busque. He moved to Dexter from Canada in 1964 and worked in the woods. He was a hand sewer at Dexter Shoe, retiring in 2000. He was a communicant of St. Anne’s Church, Our Lady of The Snows Parish, and was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. Fernand graduated from Dexter Regional High School later in life.

An avid hunter and fisherman, he also enjoyed coin collecting, and was an accomplished musician playing the accordion and harmonica. In his later years, he enjoyed playing beano and volunteered at the nursing home assisting those less fortunate than himself.

He is survived by 2 sons, Eric and wife Beth of Westbrook, Jeffery and wife Monica of Daytona Beach, FL; 2 daughters, Deborah and husband Mike Guimond of Salisbury, NC, and Patricia Busque of Dexter; a brother Charles and wife Sherry Busque of Dexter; 10 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, August 10th, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Dexter, with the Rev. Fr. Kent Ouellette officiating. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
