FLORA H. MOORE
GUILFORD- Flora H. Moore, 99, died November 20, 2008, at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born April 22, 1909, in Abbot, daughter of Silas and Bertha (Welts) Huff. She graduated from Guilford High School in 1928 and from Wilfred's School of Beauty Culture in 1930, and married Robert L. Moore in 1936. She moved to the Riverbend Apartments in Guilford in 1989, and was the recent holder of the Boston Post Gold Cane. Flora was predeceased by her husband in 1973. She was a lifelong member of the Pythian Sisters, and was a member of the Abbot Historical Society.

She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn Huttunen of N. Reading, MA; a grandson, Darryl Huttunen and his wife, Katherine of Windham, NH; granddaughters, Kristina, and Laura Huttunen. Thank you to a special nephew, Rod Moore of Farmington.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2008, at 1 PM at the Pittsfield Village Cemetery with Pastor Stephen Dean officiating.
